New Here? What to Expect

We know visiting a new church for the first time can feel a little intimidating β€” but we want you to know you are warmly welcome here.

Holy Spirit Anglican Church is a Christ-centered Anglican parish rooted in historic Christian worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and authentic community. Whether you have been attending church your whole life, are returning after time away, or are simply exploring the Christian faith, we would be honored to have you join us.

What Is an Anglican Church?

The Anglican tradition combines:

  • Biblical preaching and teaching
  • Ancient Christian worship and liturgy
  • Prayer, Scripture, and the sacraments
  • A deep connection to the historic Church

Our worship is structured and meaningful, but also warm and welcoming. You do not need to know when to stand, sit, or respond β€” simply participate as you feel comfortable. Printed service guides are available, and our congregation is always happy to help.

What to Expect on Sunday

When you arrive, you can expect:

  • A warm welcome
  • Traditional and contemporary worship elements
  • Scripture readings and Biblical preaching
  • Prayer and Holy Communion
  • A reverent but joyful atmosphere
  • People of different ages and backgrounds worshiping together

There is no dress code. Some people dress formally, while others come casually. Come as you are.

Fellowship After Service

One of the things we value most at Holy Spirit is fellowship and community.

After the service, many of us gather for coffee, treats, and conversation. It’s a relaxed time to meet people, ask questions, and simply get to know one another. We truly enjoy building friendships and growing together as a church family.

Whether you stay for five minutes or an hour, we would love the chance to meet you.

Questions?

If you have questions before visiting, feel free to reach out to us anytime. We would be glad to help.

We hope to see you soon!
